hahah, good job. That demo was fun. smile Short, but funny. Do you plan to continue this project?

A small problem, though:

nanoparser error! Quest loader: expected level path

There's a typo in quests/default.qst

it's going to be developed further, but stuff for the official OS release takes priority.
this is more of an experiment than something serious. the main purpose is to show that most mario mechanics can be reproduced in opensonic engine

anything else than normal play or level select is bound to cause problems. only 1 unfinished level so far, replacing blue ocean act 1

So I had the chance to test it out a bit. There is a few prominent bugs you should be aware of. Not that they're that notable in a sense, it just gives the cute feeling of a pirated game even more.

1. The pipes system doesn't work properly.

2. After losing a life Sonic reappears. Dunno if this is intentionally or not.

3. Brick blocks are currently not breakable.

Apart from these minor bugs I really love this game, and I want to see it fully developed.

there is no pipe system right now. they're just passable.

i can't use breakable bricks because they can be broken from any direction. there is a fake breakable brick planned, that can only be broken from below.

Sonic appears as a replacement for the Mario sprite. big_smile It is like Mario is guesting the game, but Sonic steps in after a while...
