Charge Sprite.

(Avatar)

Because someone had to do it. xD

It is 50 by 50 (Edit: The picture is 100 by 100, but don't worry, the original still works)...

So far that standing animation is all I have though. The shoes were tweaked a bit compared the concept art too.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Here's one with an animated tail... and the original size.

Charge.gif

Please note he will not blink this much or go this fast in-game...

Re: Charge Sprite.

Nice smile It's a good sprite overall, though it feels pixelizated. Not sure if it's a consequence of the resize to 100x100 or not. Perhaps we can improve the level of detail a bit?

I also think the outline is very nice, although I don't like much his tail. tongue

keep up the good work

Re: Charge Sprite.

The sprite is very nice, but it needs more detail. It really reminds me of (that game) 3, but looks very different smile

Re: Charge Sprite.

Can someone help me with this sheet then? I'm not very good at detail... I'll provide a starting point to work from, at least... because I'm not a expert spriter...

Also, the tail IS a bit big compared to the concept art... I'll fix that later.

(And if you look at the 'tail' sprite, thats the original 50 by 50...)

Re: Charge Sprite.

The only suggestion that I can give is to make Charge look more to the right instead of facing the player.

Your teacher asks you. What to answer? Say this:
"I thought the teacher is supposed to know."

Sonic 3 did that, though, and I thought it looked awesome and showed off more detail.

Re: Charge Sprite.

I know, but Sonic 3 showed only one eye. Try that in your sprite as well.

Not exactly.

I tried this already, but this current one looked better, so I'm sticking with this.

Re: Charge Sprite.

Can we put this on the wiki, so the reference won't be lost? I believe this is already a good start point for Charge - just needs a bit more of details, but the character itself is great. cool
