Yes, you have to include all you can. Maybe can be good a selection tool. You select some bricks and you copy it. And, better, put it in a "memory", as a calculator. For example, I select 3 bricks, and, pushing Crtl+1, I put it in memory 1. Next time pushing Shift+1 I can put it, as a group. With this, the groups won´t be neccesary smile  smile

sorry, I had not seen this post neutral

This may indeed be very useful big_smile
It is easy to make and easy to use!
I have this feature added to the list!

smile thank you smile

sorry for the double post but I have another idea that will be good. smile
If you have played Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the megadrive, in Chemical Plant was some tubes. When you go into a tube the character stars to spin and to move automatically. The idea is to make some arrows, in the 8 directions, and others curve arrows  making the corners of a square, with the same efect.  wink

And other is the false walls. Walls that are like a normal wall, but you can go across them. The idea is make it with an object like the "loop" object, as

False walls? See Velocity Volcano. :-p

To make a false wall, just make a copy of any obstacle brick, and change the 'Obstacle' to 'Passable'. Then, make sure the zindex is higher than 0.5.

You could already do this... :-P

Re: LC

Great, great, great cool

Nice! Very useful tool! Good job! I will criticize it a bit, but keep in mind that this tool has a great potential smile

- The tool is too slow when loading big levels (try this). I tried loading medium-sized levels and it got slow already. My computer is a Dell Mini 9. Scrolling through an entire big level can take minutes.

- A suggestion: create a "play" button at the menu, so if the user clicks it, the game is launched at the current level smile

- A suggestion: since example level contains ripped graphics, consider replacing it by some other level with original graphics, such as the template level or Celdecea's desert level (both are included in 0.1.3)

- Is there a field to set the music file?

- A suggestion: display the angle of the selected brick as well (it helps when one wants to make ramps and/or loops)

- If two bricks have the same z-index value, the one with the lower y-coordinate must be rendered before. As this is not being taken into consideration, take a look at what happens: (this is wrath's Jungle Jamboree level)

bugi.th.png

bug2nk.th.png

- The groups are bugged (some work, some don't). Take a look: (this is the template level of 0.1.3)

bug3.th.png

- Are you planning to add the new items?

I know about it, I have a few ideas to make it faster

Alexandre wrote:

I've added to the list wink

Alexandre wrote:

I haven't thought about that.

Alexandre wrote:

I replace the number of the brick to the angle.
the number of the brick isn't important information

Alexandre wrote:

I haven't much time given to zindex but it is important.
This is a good point to make it better.

Alexandre wrote:

I thought he finally did sad
I'm going to try to solve this

Alexandre wrote:

sorry I'm stupid but what are the new items?

I am going to work on version 1.0.1.
in this version all errors are dragged away, I will also work on your issues
if anyone has found a error? tell it please

Ohhhh, yes it IS.

Say you have 2 completely identical circular blocks. They have the same path, but the start points are different. You want to make a platforming challenge. To make it easier, you need to know which brick is which.

Also, a better example. When you build a brickset by scratch, and you mess something up, you need to know which brick to fix, and the easiest way to do so is by looking at what number it is.

Don't delete that, please. We need it.
