Bricksets in new versions

I'm considering to make a new brickset for Sunny Beach, and a new one to make a temple-based level (like Marble Garden or Marble Zone from the Sonic games, but making my own sprites).

Since I see the template brickset also includes a brickset mask, I wonder if there's a tool to make bricksets for levels in an easy way, or at least an easy way.

I used to make the Sunny Beach brickset with the Rapid Brickset Editor, but I don't know if it my new idea will work with said tool since the template brickset also uses a mask brickset.

From my own experience I can say, that manually file creation with bricks parametres is a the fastest and most qualitative way. You can use a template.

Re: Bricksets in new versions

There's a Brickset Tool, but it's quite old now, so no new features.

I've been doing it manually as well, and it's not as bad as it seems.

Still, if someone can make a new brickset tool, it will be highly appreciated smile

Can I try to create it? (by RAD Studio as development environment)

Please do so smile

If you believe you can help the community with this tool, your efforts will be appreciated.

Here are some questions I'd like to raise (anyone is welcome to give feedback):

  • What are the main difficulties in creating bricksets manually?
    - How can we make things better?

  • What do people need in a brickset tool?

  • What is the best workflow for creating bricks?
