[ideas] Game map, replay acts, and more

First of all: I think it's a good idea to have a game map in style of Sonic 1 Sega Master System) before the level starts. Not just a map that one can look at, but where each level is locked unless the previous is finished. This gives the game more replay value.

Next idea: We need an arcade mode where the player can play the levels they want and skip the story mode all together.

Accumulative levels:

So say that I've done a bunch of extra levels for Sunshine paradise. Currently we can only have one level loaded at the same time. What if we could first load the main level, then in a folder under say:

levels\accumulative\level-name-goes-here

So if I distribute these levels + new objects, then the game loads in the data accumulatively on top of the main level if the data exists. I simply create a folder named sunshine.lev under accumulative, and a folder named jobro to hold my data. When the main level is loaded it checks for accumulative data, and adds the data as needed. So a door pops up under the caves that takes the player to a few levels under water.

I know this might bloat the levels, but it also helps limit the need to redistribute the basic level over and over. You download it once, and all extra elements is added in afterwards.
