A picture says more than 1000 words!

When posting up new levels, levels in design and so on, do not forget to post at least 1 screenshot of your levels. If you can post 5 screenshots from different parts of the level then that is even better. The screenshots increases the odds that people will download and play your levels, and give you constructive critics.

Re: A picture says more than 1000 words!

Very true! I skip any downloads without pictures usually, when it comes to anything, because it usually turns out to be crap. Be it that they're hiding the hideous truth, or they're thinking you'll try it because you don't know what it is (which is untrue... especially when it comes to ratings and criticism afterwords).

Get screenshots, and make them good ones... flashy and interesting areas especially!

There is a built-in screenshot system in the game, or you can use GIMP(For larger-size images... File -> Create -> Screenshot), or whatever program you want to take screenshots.

Well I have as a principle to ever and always avoid downloads without snapshots, because in 9/10 they ain't worth the wasted time. It is so simple to take them from within Open Surge. Just hit the Print Screen key on your keyboard, and the file is saved to your Open Surge snapshots folder.
