Using a graphic tablets for drawing

We need to create graphics for the game and I'm thinking to start doing it.
I have never been involved in drawing, but I will study and training. I want to inquire, has anyone used a graphic tablets for drawing?

So is this a useful device?
Is it worth to buy it?

Oh wow, I did not expect that! This was a very quick doodle to make
I hope I can do more serious artworks for the team when I have some spare time smile

If you plan to start with digital illustration, it's essential
It's almost as practical as drawing on paper, nor does it compare to the use of the mouse.
