Ring replacement: Shards?

Could one of these replace rings?

Let me know what you think. With a few changes, they could be shards, batteries,
or whatever makes most sense.

I can prepare in-game sprites myself if anyone's interested in these shards.

Should I try for a different design?

I don't thing this would be very nice, but what would make sense is carrots, but then there's the other characters as well... smile

hi svgmovement,

i think it would make sense to use batteries, since Surge, Neon and Charge are all about electricity smile

The design is great! Loved the negative and positive poles, as well as the color decoration. smile

The colors of the three batteries on the top (silver, blue, yellow) are the most appealing IMO, though I don't know which one would be better in sprite form. Can we try them out? I just think that the yellow battery should have a stronger yellow, thus implying a better contrast.

I don't like 'em. I LOVE 'EM! cool Please by all means put the batteries inside this game as a replacement. I'm all about that!

Here's another idea. Increase the power if the player hits the + side, decrease when hitting the - side.
