Problem with brickset editor

When I try to open the brickset editor it says this:

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

Can some one please help me? Also, what does "0xc0000135" mean?

Re: Problem with brickset editor

You'll need to e-mail Celdecea. He's the developer of the application, but unfortunately he's no longer an active member of the forums. sad

hmmm. You can find his contact info here: (retired members)

http://opensnc.sourceforge.net/wiki/ind … developers

If it doesn't work, try zabmilenko at gmail.

He's got this excellent tool, but unfortunately it crashes quite often.

Re: Problem with brickset editor

Thanks.

It saddens me that people retire from the project.
Plus I'm listening to Kanye West's Stronger, so it's making me emotional(always does).

Re: Problem with brickset editor

S32X, i had the same problem with the brickset editor.

Truth is, it failed to open but you could continue using the editor after the error because it was only a problem of "couldnt find language files" but i just clicked continue and went on with the editor.

In your case i think KZR is right, you might be lacking microsoft net framework. Just google it and download from the microsoft page the latest version.

Re: Problem with brickset editor

Oh, thanks. but I don't understand what you said about "Truth is, it failed to open but you could continue using the editor after the error because it was only a problem of "couldnt find language files" but i just clicked continue and went on with the editor." When I open it it says "click OK to terminate the application." Then everything disappears like nothing happened.
